Project Coordinator - Winston-Salem - TRC

Susan Darville-Zuk

Susan Darville-Zuk has spent more than two decades as a teacher-trainer and an exceptional education practitioner–becoming a District Finalist for Teacher-of-the Year in WS/FCS (2018). She is an advocate for educational equity, restorative practices, and addressing disparities of decision- and policy-making and at all levels of education: classrooms, schools, districts, and states.

Ms. DZ holds a B.B.A. from Adelphi University, teaching certification from Nova University, and both an M.Ed. in Urban Education and a Graduate Certificate in Anti-Racism from the University of North Carolina-Charlotte (UNCC). She has been a National Board Certified Teacher since 2002 and continues to successfully mentor National Board teacher candidates.

Her mission now, as Project Coordinator, is to provide overall and operational support for both the 4-year SAMHSA grant (We Heal Together WS) and the Kate B. Reynolds Charitable Trust grants — serving the needs of CTRC’s community-based partners building trauma-resilience.
