Director of Business Operations

Rebecca Goggin

Rebecca is a nonprofit and community engagement leader with experience in trauma-resilient systems, organizational operations, project management, and strategic partnerships. She currently serves as Director of Business Operations for Crossnore’s Center for Trauma Resilient Communities, where she leads operational strategy and partnership development for the organization’s national training and consultation division. In this role, she manages departmental infrastructure, oversees financial and contractual processes, and works across sectors to support sustainable growth and mission delivery.

Building on her direct practice background, Rebecca’s work has evolved into macro and mezzo-level systems leadership focusing on advancing trauma-resilient individuals, organizations, and communities. Her experience spans child welfare, trauma-informed care, grant management, workforce development, and community-based programming across nonprofit, education, and public systems. She has led work in project management, organizational implementation, research and evaluation, training facilitation, and direct service within child welfare and sexual assault systems of care.

She holds a Master of Science in Social Work from the University of Louisville, Kent School of Social Work, where she currently serves as part-time faculty, and a Bachelor of Arts in Social Work from the University of Kentucky.
