Senior Director of Impact Evalutation

Monica Landers

Monica Landers, PhD, MSW currently serves as the Senior Director of Impact Evaluation at Crossnore Communities for Children. She provides guidance around evaluation, outcomes, and data-driven decision making for programs at Crossnore as well as for the Center of Trauma Resilient Communities.

Monica comes to Crossnore from the University of South Florida in Tampa, FL where she was engaged in research and evaluation in the Department of Child and Family Studies. Monica earned a PhD in Behavioral and Community Sciences and holds a master’s degree in Criminology as well as a master’s degree in Social Work each from USF.

Monica was integral on numerous research and evaluation teams for various projects, publications, and presentations centered on behavioral health, child welfare systems, systems of care, improving child welfare systems, substance use and misuse, police and behavioral health integration, interagency collaboration, and commercial sexual exploitation of children.

Monica has a strong background in quantitative research methods and a history collaborating with community partners in evaluating programs and initiatives.

In her free time, Monica can be found running, hiking, and exploring the outdoors.
