Participants who have completed the 3-Day Engagement Training and have been recommended for this training by their organization. This 3-Day Embedding Workshop is facilitated by Crossnore’s Center for Trauma Resilient Communities faculty and provides opportunities for advanced work in  building trauma-resilience. 3-Day Engagement Trainings (WSTRC) – Multiple dates

This is our introductory research-based training focusing on individual, organizational, and community resilience. This course is a prerequisite for our 3-Day Embedding Workshop. This training is offered to any staff member, board member, or volunteer from any of our Backbone Agencies for the We Heal Together Winston-Salem grant or our sister grant, the Kate B. Reynolds Charitable Trust. Additionally, seats are available for those representing other organizations and for community members. This 4-hour workshop provides an abbreviated overview of the 3-Day Trauma Resilient Communities Engagement Training offered by Crossnore’s Center for Trauma Resilient Communities (CTRC) on behalf of grants provided by Kate B. Reynolds Charitable Trust and the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA). Community partnership plays a vital role in both grants and we value your participation and feedback as you learn the foundations of this collaborative work to build trauma resilience in Winston-Salem. S.E.L.F. Training – Multiple dates

Trauma and adversity can significantly impact individuals, groups, and communities. Dr. Sandra Bloom’s S.E.L.F. framework (Safety, Emotions, Loss, and Future) provides a practical, research-supported approach to fostering resilience, emotional intelligence, growth and change in response to adversity and trauma. Through case studies, reflective exercises, and group discussions,  participants will explore the four key dimensions of the S.E.L.F. framework and how they relate to personal and professional growth to build trauma resilience. Attendees who participate in the entire workshop are eligible for contact hours or CEUs. Click here to register.

Youth Mental Health First Aid – Multiple dates

Youth Mental Health First Aid is designed to teach parents, family members, caregivers, teachers, school staff, neighbors, health and human services workers, and other caring citizens how to help an adolescent (age 12-18) who is experiencing a mental health or addictions challenge or is in crisis.
